Omni personnel have a thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations concerning UST and AST compliance issues, air quality permitting, wetland delineation and restoration, industrial wastewater permitting and a wide variety of corrective action activities. 

Omni can assist our clients with UST and AST upgrading and/or removals to meet the 1998 state and federal compliance regulations.  The requirements for USTs can be found in the Code of Federal Regulation (CFR), 40 CFR, Part 280.  The compliance issue described in this code must be met by all petroleum storage operators to assure eligible reimbursement of potential investigation and clean-up costs by the Minnesota Petrofund.    

Omni is currently responsible for the environmental regulatory compliance for two large petroleum marketing corporations.  Omni tracks the implementation of UST compliance measures for the December 1998 UST deadline, performs required line leak detector testing and corrosion testing of existing tanks and lines, and has completed facility voluntary compliance audits in connection with the MPCA.  Omni is certified by the Steel Tank Institute as an authorized Underground Storage Tank Cathodic Protection Tester.
